VP Bank Ladies Open

The highlight of the golfing scene in German-speaking Switzerland

From 3 to 5 May 2019, the VP Bank Ladies Open will be staged in Gams-Werdenberg in a globally new format. VP Bank became the patron for this high-level tournament in 2017 and has acted as the title sponsor ever since.

The VP Bank Ladies Open in Gams-Werdenberg is the sole professional golf tournament for women in German-speaking Switzerland. It is one of the most popular tournaments in the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) and offers prize money of EUR 45,000. The tournament will feature a global innovation in April: The first two days of the tournament will be stroke play days (as before); the top 48 of the cumulated stroke play rounds qualify for the final day. On Sunday, the pro players will compete in match play mode for tournament victory and places.

Alongside existing partnerships with the Gams-Werdenberg Golf Club and the Golf Club Bad Ragaz, with this golfing commitment, VP Bank has established a strong positioning within the golfing world.
