New structure and composition of Executive Board of VP Bank (Luxembourg) SA

Romain Moebus has decided to step down from his executive role. The new Executive Board will be organised in line with the regional setup and will follow the target operating model defined by the Group. The number of members will be expanded to four.

Romain Moebus, COO Luxembourg and COO/CFO Region Europe, has decided to step down from his executive role.

Romain Moebus will continue to assume his Executive Board position until the new board is in place. He will accompany the transition and will thereafter take on a new senior role within the bank, also supporting the Group in various transformation projects.

The new Executive Board of VP Bank (Luxembourg) SA will be expanded to four people with a strengthened business representation.

Carsten Stricker will join the Executive Board as Head of Intermediaries & Fund Clients. He joined VP Bank in March 2023 and before held executive positions in Nordic Banks in Luxembourg. At the same time, Trine Guldager will join the Executive Board as COO. He joined VP Bank in January 2022 and since then headed the Operations department. Trine Guldager will also become member of the Region Europe Management Committee (GEL) as COO for Europe.

The Executive Board will be completed through a fourth member as Head of Risk Management, for which the search process has started. Until then, Romain Moebus will assume Executive Board responsibility for this area.

The changes shall become effective, subject to approval from regulatory authorities, as from 15 May 2023.
